Peru Warmikuna

This Peruvian coffee has something for every kind of coffee drinker. For the less adventorous coffee drinker, they will find crowd-pleasing sweetness. Those who enjoy complexity in their coffee will find that here as well with layers of flavor and texture. Tasting notes: apricot, chamomile, lime, dried dates, and brown sugar.

This coffee comes from the Junin region in Peru. It is one of Peru’s most biodiverse regions and the bridge between the Andes mountain range and Amazon rainforest. The name Warmikuna means ´women´ in Qechua, one of Peru´s oldest languages. This coffee is produced by a collective of 55 women farmers who have demonstrated a leading role in the coffee business. Six business model farms are currently spearheading the profitable sustainability and regenerative practices. These farms act as showcases through which other producers can see proper technical training in action.
