We're Graham and Jenna Parker, the proprietors of this fledgling coffee roastery. I (Graham) have been called a coffee snob before. I gladly claim this title because I care about what coffee actually tastes like, and the taste of coffee begins with the beans and how they’re roasted. 

The roast process, along with the source and quality of the bean, is key to what the coffee tastes like in your cup. Every coffee has its own unique flavor profile: fruits, floral, chocolate, sweet, and sour. Coffee also has a body our mouthfeel. Consider the difference between herbal tea and a Guinness. Our roast profiles are specifically designed to bring out the unique flavors and body inherent to each coffee.

I started roasting my own coffee at home six years ago because I had a hard time finding coffee I enjoyed and roasted the way I liked — light —and for a reasonable price. Now, after years of roasting, we're scaling up the roasting game to share with you the joy of specialty coffee at a reasonable price. We roast in small batches to ensure quality, and carefully select each coffee we roast to give you a variety of coffees to enjoy. Roasting locally in Grand Junction means you will get your coffee at its peak freshness, unlike grocery store coffee which was roasted ages ago.

PRKR Coffee is a local (Colorado only) weekly subscription coffee service. Each week we roast one of the coffees in our rotation and will have it ready for you weekly.
